Mother Daughter trip. Enjoyed opportunity to see rock formations and island from inside and out. We also climbed high enough to see lake in middle of island.
Note to all fellow travelers: explore responsibly. Leave no trace. Clean up after yourselves. Care for the beauty and environment.

Viet Excursions provided a guide as well as a ride on a “junk.” The boat took us to the cave. It was a challenging walk up more than 100 stairs but there were plenty of landings and beautiful scenery. The guide gave us a great overview with plenty of anecdotes along the way. the cave is massive and really quite thrilling. Also cooler than the heat of outdoors. then we got back on the boat and toured around the other side of the island. Very worthwhile.
