Dau Go Cave

Dau Go Cave, one of the most stunning caves in Halong Bay, is located on Dau Go Island, approximately 6 km from Bai Chay Harbour and only 300 meters from Thien Cung Cave. The cave showcases ancient, unspoiled beauty with unique stalagmites in various fascinating shapes.

Situated 27 meters above sea level, the cave entrance measures 12 meters wide and 17 meters high, with a dome height of 25 meters. Inside, the cave offers a vast space of 5000 square meters, divided into three chambers. The first chamber is bathed in natural light, revealing an array of stalactites in different sizes and colors. Visitors can use their imagination to see shapes resembling elephants, deer, lions, and turtles.

As you move deeper into the second chamber, the atmosphere transforms, evoking the feeling of standing inside an ancient castle with its majestic architecture. The deeper sections of the cave are dimly lit, creating a mysterious and enchanting ambiance with natural formations appearing like novel paintings. The cave culminates in a grand area with massive stone columns, illuminated by colorful electric lights.

Distinct from other caves in the bay, Dau Go Cave boasts a rich diversity of flora and fauna. The expansive entrance, high humidity, and sunlight have fostered the growth of a variety of plants, including moss, ferns, and woody species
