Orchid Cruise 3 Day 2 Night
DAY 1: HANOI – HA LONG BAY – LAN HA BAY (LUNCH & DINNER)
– 08:00 – 08:30: A luxury van will pick you up from your hotel in the Hanoi Old Quarter. Enjoy the scenic landscape of the Red River Delta en route to Ha Long Bay. (Please note that the transfer service is not included.)
– 11:00 – 11:30: Arrive at Lot 32 – Tuan Chau Marina and complete check-in procedures at the waiting lounge. Enjoy a warm welcome with special tea served in the lounge.
– 11:45 – 12:00: Transfer to Orchid Cruises via speedboat. Welcome aboard! Enjoy welcome drinks and gather at the restaurant for a cruise briefing and safety instructions.
– 12:45 – 13:00: Lunch will be served as we cruise through Ha Long Bay and Lan Ha Bay, recognized as one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature.
– 15:00 – 15:30: We will visit the Dark and Bright Caves, a must-see destination! Kayaking through these caves offers an intimate experience of Ha Long Bay’s breathtaking beauty. Alternatively, you may choose to discover Ba Trai Dao (Three Peaches Islets), where tranquil waters and picturesque landscapes provide an idyllic setting for kayaking or relaxing on a sandy shore. Enjoy a refreshing swim in the emerald-green waters, weather permitting.
– 17:00 – 17:30: Orchid Cruises will anchor for an overnight stay in Tra Bau, Lan Ha Bay, allowing you to immerse yourself in the serene natural beauty of the bay.
– 18:00 – 18:15: Onboard, you can participate in a cooking demonstration and enjoy Happy Hour (buy 1 get 1) at the bar while taking in the sunset views over the bay. (Massage services are available; please book directly with our Cruise Manager.)
– 19:15 – 19:30: Savor a fusion dinner prepared with the freshest ingredients in a sophisticated setting that combines elegant French neoclassical style with traditional oriental touches.
– 21:00 – 21:30: Admire the beauty of the bay at night. Our bar on the sundeck and in the restaurant welcomes you. You may try your luck at squid fishing, watch a movie in the restaurant, or enjoy chess and card games.
– 23:00: Overnight on board.
DAY 2: LAN HA BAY (BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER)
– 06:00 – 06:30: Start your day early with a Tai Chi session on the sundeck. Breakfast will be served in the dining room, offering a morning view of the bay’s landscape as we continue our journey.
– 06:45 – 07:00: Enjoy breakfast at the restaurant while cruising.
– 07:45 – 08:00: Transfer to a day boat to visit Viet Hai village. Enjoy a bicycle trip along the village path, passing through rainforests and dark tunnels. Take in the stunning scenery of rice fields along the way. Relax in the village and visit an ancient local house made from straw, mud, and bamboo, where you can observe local life. (Optional electric car service is available at an extra cost.) Afterward, return to the day boat for a visit to Lan Ha Bay, where lunch will be served.
– 13:30 – 14:00: Visit Ba Men Temple, a peaceful body of water with beautiful scenery, perfect for scenic kayaking or relaxing on a sandy beach.
– 16:00 – 16:30: Return to Orchid Cruises. Guests may join a cooking class, take a swim in an untouched area, or enjoy Happy Hour (buy 1 get 1) at the bar while watching the magnificent sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin.
– 19:00 – 19:30: Fusion dinner will be served, featuring delicious local food prepared by our exceptional onboard catering staff in an intimate, romantic setting.
– 21:00 – 21:30: Enjoy the night landscape of the bay from the top deck. Relax with drinks from the bar, try night squid fishing, or watch a movie in the restaurant. Overnight on board. (Massage services are available; please book directly with the Cruise Manager.)
– 23:00: End of Day Two program.
DAY 3: HA LONG BAY – HANOI (BREAKFAST & BRUNCH)
– 06:00 – 06:30: Refresh and indulge in the peaceful beauty of the bay with a Tai Chi session on the sundeck. If you wish to catch the dawn, rise between 5:30 and 6:00, depending on the season, and consult our sailors.
– 06:45 – 07:00: Breakfast will be served at the restaurant while we continue cruising.
– 07:15 – 07:30: We will progress to Trung Trang Cave via bus on Cat Ba Island, located in the heart of Cat Ba National Park surrounded by Kim Giao forest. Trung Trang Cave, situated in Trung Trang Valley, is 15 km northwest of Cat Ba town. The cave is 300 meters long and features a mysterious beauty shaped by geological processes over millions of years, along with many historical vestiges. Marvel at the various stalactites that stimulate the imagination.
– 09:45 – 10:00: Welcome back on board Orchid Cruises for check-out. Enjoy a delightful brunch at our restaurant.
– 11:00 – 11:30: Disembark from Orchid Cruises at Tuan Chau Marina. We wish you the best as you conclude your cruise with us.
– 14:30 – 15:00: Return to your drop-off point in Hanoi. (Please note that the transfer service is not included.)
