Your luxurious floating home embarks around noon. As you step on board, enjoy a refreshing welcome beverage while familiarizing yourself with the ship’s amenities during the introductory briefing. We commence our extraordinary journey through one of nature’s latest wonders – Lan Ha Bay. Lunch is served in the Ginger dining area, bathed in natural light and offering sweeping views of the picturesque surroundings.

During our cruise, we’ll catch sight of an ancient lighthouse established by the French over a century ago as we venture further south into the labyrinthine waters of Lan Ha Bay, a newly accessible section of Halong Bay. Unwind on the sun deck and take in the mesmerizing landscape that unfolds before you. There’s ample time to indulge in various onboard activities, whether you want to take a refreshing dip in the pool or treat yourself to exquisite spa treatments at the spacious Lady Ginger spa.

Our next stop is Viet Hai Village, located on Cat Ba Island, where you can either bike or take an electric car for a lively tour along charming paved paths leading to a village nestled within a valley. Here, you’ll have the chance to meet local residents as they engage in their daily routines and visit the village school.

Once back on board, our chef will guide you through a hands-on cooking class in the restaurant’s open kitchen. You’ll discover local ingredients and learn how to prepare traditional dishes that you can easily replicate at home. As evening approaches, we anchor in a serene spot for the night—a perfect retreat to reflect on the day’s adventures while sipping cocktails under the stars. Dinner will be served in the dining room.

After your meal, you might enjoy relaxing at our bar with a digestif or exploring the unique evening cinema set up in the dining area. Unwind with your favorite drink in this one-of-a-kind cinema experience. Alternatively, join our crew for some squid fishing before heading to your cabin for the night.

Day 2: Lan Ha Bay – Tra Bau – Haiphong – Hanoi

Transfers and Activities:
Embark on a morning excursion to Tra Bau, a hidden gem, enjoy brunch back on the Ginger Cruise, and then journey back to Hanoi.

Begin your day with an invigorating Tai Chi session on the sun deck, allowing the gentle morning sun to awaken both your mind and body. Afterward, treat yourself to coffee, tea, and freshly baked pastries in the dining room to kickstart your day.

As Ginger sets sail, we’ll navigate towards Frog Lake, a secluded area perfect for our morning adventure. Explore the enchanting bay in kayaks or bamboo boats, immersing yourself in a landscape adorned with treetopped islands. Experience a newfound sense of freedom and a deep connection with nature.

Upon returning onboard, enjoy a hearty breakfast served in the dining room (or delivered to your cabin upon request) before we commence our journey back to the pier, arriving around 11 AM.
