This was the perfect bit of luxury I needed! The food was amazing, lots on offer and the jacuzzi bathtub was a lovely end to my evening! Would THOROUGHLY recommend to anyone considering a boat trip through Ha Long Bay. One thing to note was that I was charged a fair bit for being a solo traveller which was initially annoying, but honestly it’s so worth it, it didn’t matter!

Excellent, the cruise is spectacular. The cabins are beautiful and spacious, the buffet is plentiful and varied, and the staff deserves a score of 1,000.
The boat itself was beautiful and the pickup from Hanoi was very well organized. Our room was lovely and the private balcony made the experience feel special. The ship was spacious and relaxing, and it always felt easy to find a comfortable spot to sit and enjoy the sun and the incredible views of the bay. One small note is that the staff seemed very heavily trained to check in constantly about how things were. While the intention was good, it sometimes felt a bit excessive. Our bathroom had a noticeable mold smell, which unfortunately seems somewhat common across Vietnam, but it’s still worth noting. Our balcony door was also broken and didn’t lock, and while staff tried to help, it wasn’t able to be fixed during our stay. The activities (like squid fishing) felt fairly basic, and the boat doesn’t move very much during the trip — it’s more like relaxing in a floating hotel than a cruise that travels around a lot. Overall though, we had a really positive experience.
The vessel is new and furbished to a high standard with good attention to detail. Staff are all delightful and plenty of entertainment/activities on hand. The food served throughout is varied and plentiful. The views are stunning and everything felt so seamless from pick up to drop off. Catered well for gluten free options. You can tell the staff enjoy what they do and bring to the cruise. Would highly recommend.
