8-Day North Of Vietnam
Day 1: Hanoi Arrived
Arrive at NoiBai Airport. You will be welcomed & picked up then transferring to a hotel in Hanoi. Check-in registration. Enjoy welcome dinner at traditional restaurant. Relax and stay overnight at hotel. Meal: Welcome Dinner Accommodation: Hotel in Hanoi
Day 2: Hanoi – Cao Bang
6:30 – 7:00: Pick up from the hotel in the Ha Noi Old Quarter. Depart to Ban Gioc Waterfall – one of the four waterfalls located between 2 countries, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world. Arrive in Đong Khe town – It was the site of the First Indochina War. You will have lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, continue the journey to Nguom Ngao Cave (Tiger Cave). And then get back on the bus and keep journeying to the hotel near Ban Gioc waterfall – Cao Bang province, Check-in the hotel and relax. 18:30: Have dinner at the hotel.
Day 3: Cao Bang – Hanoi
7:00: Have breakfast and check-out the hotel. The driver and guide pick you up from the hotel to visit Ban Gioc Waterfall (one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world). 11:00: Come back to the bus to visit Mat Than Mountain (Thung Mountain, which is located in Quang Uyen District). . 13:00: Have lunch at local restaurant in Quang Uyen District, Cao Bang. After lunch, you will get on the bus to come back to Hanoi. 19:00: Arrive in Hanoi.
Day 4: Hanoi-Halong Bay
Take in the crystal clear waters and imposing limestone islands of the famous Ha Long Bay on an overnight boat trip from Hanoi. Travel among stunning rock formations and take part in fun activities, then relax in a private cabin with a balcony and panoramic views of the ocean. Get picked up directly from your Hanoi hotel and head over to the harbor to board your cruise. Enjoy welcome drinks while listening to the safety briefing. Savor a delicious lunch and take in ocean views as the boat sets sail, passing Dog Island, Dinh Huong islet, and Kissing Rocks. Stop to visit Luon Cave. Go kayaking at Luon Cave or take a bamboo boat to Luon Cave. Then, explore the popular Ti Top Island, where you can go swimming or hiking to the top for 360-degree views of the bay. Day 5: Halong Bay- Hanoi
On day two, warm up in the morning with a tai chi lesson as the sun rises. Enjoy a light breakfast before visiting the magnificent Sung Sot Cave, with beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. Participate in a farewell lunch before arriving at the harbor and being transferred back to Hanoi.
Day 6: Ha Long Bay – Ninh Binh
Uncover the cultural and natural heritage of the Ninh Binh province on a guided day trip from Hanoi. Pay a visit to the Bai Dinh Temple Complex, float through the tranquil rivers of Trang An, and climb to the top of Mua Caves for striking panoramic views of rocky hills. Get picked up from your hotel in Hanoi and depart toward Ninh Binh. Stop at Bai Dinh, the biggest complex of Buddhist temples in Vietnam, to gaze at the imposing pagoda. See 500 Arhat Statues made out of blue stones, a 36-ton bronze bell, and a 100-ton Buddha statue, rising up to 10 meters. Take a lunch break in a local restaurant, with a Vietnamese buffet of goat meat, fish, chicken, and fried rice, as well as vegetarian food options. Continue to the Trang An Landscape Complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featured in the 2017 movie Kong: Skull Island. Hop on a wooden boat to navigate through its quiet rivers, discover mysterious caves, and admire towering limestone karsts covered with tropical plants. Finally, climb up 500 steps to the viewpoint of Mua Caves to marvel at panoramic views of Tam Coc before returning to Hanoi.
Day 7: Hanoi City Tour
8h00 – 8h30: We pick you up at your hotel. We start to visit Ho Chi Minh Complex, including Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum – the final resting place of Vietnamese great father or Uncle Ho, President Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house – where Uncle Ho lived and worked from 1958 to 1969, then visit Ho Chi Minh Museum where tourists will learn about his devotion for Viet Nam. 10h30 : We continue our trip to Tran Quoc pagoda, Budhist relics and national heritage, lying on one side of West Lake. 11h00 : Then we’ll proceed to visit one of these : Option 1 : Bat Trang Ceramics & Pottery Village ( On Mondays – Fridays ) Option 2 : Vietnam Museum of Ethnology ( On Tuesdays – Wednesday – Thursdays – Saturdays – Sundays ) 12h30 : Have lunch at a local restaurant. 13h30 – 13h45 : Continue to visit Temple of Literature – The first university in Vietnam. 15h30 : Leaving for Hoan Kiem Lake to visit Ngoc Son Temple where worships General Tran Hung Dao – The most talented general of Vietnam in the ancient time. 16h30 : The Trip end ! Back to Hotel
Day 8: Hanoi End Trip
Free at leisure to explore the city or doing other things you are interested in until time transfer to airport for flight back home. Meal: Breakfast
